Warren Tran, The Entrepreneur: Warren Tran is not just a computer science enthusiast but also a passionate entrepreneur. During the challenging times of COVID-19, Warren saw an opportunity to revitalize a struggling restaurant business. Alongside his aunt, he transformed Manhattan Deli Bagel into NY Deli Bagel & Café.

Our Story

Our Story: In 2020, the restaurant industry was hit hard by the pandemic. The former owner of Manhattan Deli and Bagel could not sustain the business, presenting an opportunity for Warren and his aunt. With a background in cooking and baking, they took over the business for just $7,000 in October 2021. Initially, the team consisted of only two employees: Warren and his aunt. While she focused on cooking, Warren handled the website, online orders, marketing, and network setup.

and Success

From Small Beginnings to Great Success: Through dedication and innovation, NY Deli Bagel & Café grew from a two-person team to a thriving business with ten employees. They catered to significant clients such as Amazon, hospitals, schools, and Georgia Tech’s basketball teams. Revenue soared from $120,000 to $1.5 million per year within three years.

Swimming
Swimming has played a key role in my life. As a competitive swimmer and record holder, I’ve learned the importance of discipline, perseverance, and goal-setting. It’s more than just a sport to me—it’s a source of personal growth.
Volunteer Work
Community involvement is important to me. I’ve volunteered by teaching computer skills at local shelters and helping organize community events. These experiences have allowed me to develop leadership skills and make a positive impact on others.
